Do you want to give back and become a VE?

Requirements:

To be a VE you must meet the requirements in §97.509 Administering VE requirements.

• be at least 18 years old
• hold an General, Advanced or Amateur Extra class license
• not have had a license suspended or revoked

And additional FCC requirements in §97.525 Accrediting VEs

• not competent to perform the VE functions
• the person’s integrity or honesty could compromise the examinations

We have developed new (July 2026) self-study online training that is hosted at https://fortunefavorstheprepared.com/vec-00-landing/ At the conclusion of each course you will be able to generate a certificate of completion.
